RF Cautery

RF Cautery

RF Cautery in Kharadi, Pune at Shakambarri Clinic is a minimally invasive procedure using USFDA-approved radiofrequency technology to precisely remove skin tags, warts, moles, sebaceous cysts, syringomas, and other minor skin lesions. Only the targeted tissue is treated — surrounding skin remains completely undisturbed. Performed by Dr. Babasaheeb Ingale in a sterile clinical setting. Minimal downtime.

RF Cautery

What Is RF Cautery — and How Does It Work?

RF Cautery uses a fine electrode that delivers a focused radiofrequency current to the lesion. This precisely destroys the unwanted tissue — without cutting, without significant bleeding, and without affecting the healthy skin around it.

Because the procedure is so precise, healing is fast and the risk of scarring is minimal when performed correctly by a qualified dermatologist.
At Shakambarri Clinic, RF Cautery is always done by Dr. Babasaheeb Ingale personally — using USFDA-approved equipment.

What to Expect During an RF Cautery Session

The area is cleaned and a local anaesthetic is applied or injected. The RF Cautery electrode is then applied precisely to the lesion. Most procedures take only 10–20 minutes depending on the number of lesions.

After treatment, a small crust forms over the treated area. This heals naturally over 5–10 days. Aftercare instructions are provided by Dr. Ingale at the time of the procedure.
